need some help?

break outta their frames

as you may notice, i'm in the middle of converting my site - all 2000+ pages, bless them - to css and updated html.  for this reason, links may not work, and some pages may look reeeeally funky.  the conversion is ongoing, so check in on my progress.  if there's something you find that you think i overlooked, shoot me a note and let me know the address of the page and the problem you found.

but i'm also working on a redesign - not of the design, but of the content - namely, me.  the writing - the journal in particular - has raised questions in my mind of what i desire my artistic voice to say, to promote, to share.  this is not to say that i intend to become stingy with my words; on the contrary, i'm realizing that to just say anything isn't considerate, either for you or for the real characters in my life.  i'm also realizing that text without consideration isn't necessarily art, which is what i created this site way back in 1999 to promote.

but this is not dead, nor is its growth stunted.  just give it time.

in the meanwhile, feel free to click on the above "alita." and peruse the archives.  you can also leave your email address (under "etc.") and i'll shout at you when i'm updating again.
